I think they handled it well. 1 grand prize gets the uber rare mini, 20 others get the panda. This means Kanaxi stays rare (that makes what, 17 or so?) keeping the collectors happy and there are more pandas running around (personally, I see pandas aaallllll the time, there were 5 in Kamalag the other day at one time) You win a pet you don't want? Let us assume you DO win the grand prize. Sell Kanaxi , buy a few pandas from the profit, give em to your friends. Win Win

There really is only ONE legitimate complaint anyone should be allowed to make.

That complaint are/is the exclusion:

Im pretty sure its because of legal/technical reason, but thats the only thing about this contest worth complaining about.

The OP could have worded his post better, but I too find it weird that the #1 prize is Kanaxai, and the #3 prize could be a panda or island guardian.

I think the mini panda is more coveted than the mini Kanaxai so following that logic I'd say, Panda for prize 1, and um...kanaxai, Visu, Island Guardian should be given out....ah who cares I stopped reading after seeing Panda.

Also, panda plays an important role in GW history, as it had been shown in a picture in Chapter 2's game manual. However, the Panda is sacred in Asia so Anet in their infinite wisdom, decided sending in a sacred pet to it's death over and over again would be insulting to some people of the Asian persuasian. Hence, ppl have been hawt to get 1 since it had previously been denied.

All the peeps with teh ecto want Panda. Kanaxi is noway near as popular. I know quite a few people who sold their Kanaxi to get Panda.

I am sure most people here dont know anyone with the ecto required to buy them, dont know their value, dont know who owns them or is selling them etc.

Rare minis are all going to be common anyway so doesnt really matter numbers they releasing for this competition thing.

Some of you guys are a joke. You claim to know the prices of these pets but you don't. The prices are volatile and vary from person to person. Case in point, I know for a fact a panda was sold in game for 12000 ectos, yes that is right 3 zeros. I know owners who continue to get offered 250 armbraces (duping anyone?). How about that beetle that sold for 400 armbraces? Do you guys know how many ectos that is? In any event, it is hard to put an exact price on these pets due to a number of reasons ranging from personal preference to remnants of the duping saga. Anyways, just clarifying........
